What I Think of Dates!

In many lands dating is viewed as a means of romantic entertainment, a fun activity. Dating thus takes many forms. For some, a date is a formal structured affair like giving flowers or a lovely dinner. And for others, a date simply means spending some time together with someone you like of the opposite sex. Well, whether you call it dating, going together or just seeing each other, it usually amounts or means to the same thing.

You may feel under pressure to date. Most of your peers probably date and naturally you do not want to seem weird or different. Pressure to date may also come from well-meaning friends and relatives. For some youths the pressure comes from there own desires for warmth and affection. But a teenager should not begin dating simply because he or she feels pressured to do so! For one thing, dating is serious business it is a part of the process of selecting a marriage mate.

Today, Youths are in the vulnerable period of life the Bible calls “the bloom of youth” during this time; you may feel powerful surges of sexual desire. There is nothing wrong with this because it is a part of growing up. But therein lies a big problem with teenagers dating. Teen agers are just beginning to learn how to control their feelings, dating may simply be too much for them to handle. When one is past the bloom of youth, one can better deal with sexual impulses and even then it is not easy.

After all, during the teen years, your personality is still in a state of flux. You are discovering who you are, what you really like and what to do with your life. Someone who interests you today may very well bore you tomorrow. But when romantic feelings have been allowed to flourish, some one is bound to get hurt, not surprisingly; several research studies have linked a fight with girl friend or disappointment in love as among the situations responsible for many youthful suicides.

Stress everyday?

In reality, we can’t escape from stress, whether you are a worker, student, or an ordinary citizen because we are living in a stressful ever-changing situation of this world. Too much stress isn’t good to our health says one expert. It can cause to a serious health sickness and problem if you are not careful enough. So better do something to refresh and relax your self. I feel same thing sometimes because of my stressful job but I find a way to escape from it sometimes.

Every time I’m down and stress, I used to sit dawn in front of my computer, open my blog and write anything just to express my self and release my tension. I find it effective though because after blogging I feel much better. Try it if you want to prove me right.

Hectic Schedule!

fun

nothing

I didn’t intend to have a hectic schedule but it was happen though! I’m working as a full time teacher from Monday to Friday and full time student every Saturday. So Sunday should be my rest day but it’s not that simple because I need to get up at 8:00 am every Sunday in order to attend Congregation meetings from 9 am to 12 pm. And in the afternoon I need to go house to house preaching the good news about God’s kingdom to all people and after that, I conduct Bible study from 4pm to 6pm.

I enrolled my master’s degree last June 7 for self fulfillment and to lift up my educational attainment. I enrolled 12 units without thinking about it. I was surprise when I learned that I need to stay at least 13 hours in school from 8:30 am to 9 pm every Saturday. My first day in school was so terrible when I finish my class at around 9 I suffered head ache the whole night until morning. It’s good to have master’s degree but it’s really hard to earn it. But it’s fun also in way that you can socialize and have a lot of connections with different people from different jobs, agencies, and companies who happen to be you classmates.

It’s good to have a hectic schedule because you learn to manage your self and time properly to fit with you schedule and keep in touch with your activities everyday but in some other points it’s not good because you can’t have a much needed rest to recharge your energy and stamina.

“More harm than Good”?

Blood transfusion with banked human body may do more harm than good for a majority of patients, a report from Duke University Medical center in U.S.A found out that patient who used blood transfusion has higher incidences of heart attack, heart failure and even death than those who were not transfused. Why? “Because nitric oxide in red blood cells begins breaking down almost immediately after red blood cells leave the body”.

Nitric oxide is crucial to keeping blood vessels open and thus allowing red cells to ferry oxygen to the body’s tissues. “Millions of patients are apparently receiving transfusions with blood that is impaired in its ability to deliver, says one medical expert. So if you have any plans to used blood transfusion to save your life then better think twice or ells, bad things will happen to you, why not just used medical alternative than to risk your life with nothing! Don’t you know that the Bible word of God also warn humans not to used blood and keep away from it by any circumstances.

A few things about life

Love is a romantic mysterious feeling that seizes anybody, it’s a once in a life time feeling sheer ecstasy. Love, they believe is strictly an affair of the heart, something that cannot be understood, but you can experienced it. No doubt about it, feeling in love can be a uniquely beautiful experience.

Physical appearance is the main reason and factor why we are attracted to opposite sex, but remember that outward appearances can be deceiving. The Bible says “charm may be false and prettiness may be vain”. The glittering wrappings of the gift tells you nothing of what’s inside. In fact, the most elegant wrappings may cover a useless gift. The proverbs says: “as a good nose ring in the snout of a pig, so as a woman that is pretty but turns away from sensibleness. Nose rings were popular adornment during bible times. They were exquisite, often made of solid gold. Naturally, such a ring would be the first piece of jewelry you would notice on a woman.
Appropriately, the proverb compares an outwardly beautiful woman who lacks of sensibleness to a nose ring in the snout of a pig. Beauty simply does not befit a senseless woman; it is a useless
ornament on her.

Some prominent people and writers feel that the human heart has infallible romantic judgment. Just listen to your heart, they argue and you will know when it’s real love. Thousands of couples every year marry under the illusion of being in love, only to find out that they have seriously erred.

Celtics smoked Lakers ass!

Celtics is not my favorite team in the NBA but I like them better than Lakers. Celtics won game 4 in Lakers today because of the effort of Rey Allen and Paul Pierce. A lot of people doubted the potential of Celtics team although they have like Rey Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnet but they are wrong. Kobe Bryant is a fine and good player, and he’s in his prime right now but he is very boastful not unlike Jordan, the living legend.

I want Celtics to win the NBA finals because they deserved it and the big trees don’t have any NBA ring yet. Lakers have a commanding lead since first quarter but the tight defends of the Celtics makes difference and change the tempo and momentum of the game. Rey Allen, the sweet shooting guard of the Boston Celtics made 6 tree pointers and a couple of lay ups to lead the Celtics rally in the fourth quarter to erase the Lakers in their home court and won the game.

Pictures at home

Photobucket

my place

These are just some of the pictures that I took in my cell phone when I attended the burial of my beloved grand mother last, last month. This is also the place where I grew up since childhood. I used to run in these forest mountains when my late grandmother scolds me. I’d even climb some trees to play and relax my self. I love this place because it’s cool and still fresh. It was good though because after 10 years, some of these places are still present. I took these pictures while relaxing early in the morning. I used to meditate in this place if I’m stress.

No Free Time

I wasn’t able to post anything in my blog last week because I was so busy, my schedule was o full, I don’t have any vacant time at work and my computer at home wasn’t working well. I was so preoccupied that I couldn’t even have time to open and check my blog. But this week, no matter what happen I will set aside a time for my blog.

It’s really annoying because every night before I go to bed I need to study for a while to prepare my lesson for the following day. I used to it though because I’m a teacher but things went out different when I was assigned to teach extensive grammar to my students since last, last week. Can you imagine I need to read a lot of grammar books to prepare for their possible questions when they got confused! What a work!!! It was good though because I was force to teach things well and recall the things I learned before.

You know guys! One of the greatest challenges of teaching stems from the lack of immediate, accurate feed back. The student who walks out of your classroom shaking his head and muttering under his breath about grammar may burst into class tomorrow proclaiming his triumph over English, and thanking you for the previous lesson. There is no way to predict precisely what long term results of your work will be but if you have a sense of purpose, you can cultivate expectations of success for your students. Thoughtful preparation makes good outcomes more likely than bad ones.
